The Hospitality Hub works to help people exit homelessness. Located in downtown Memphis, the Hub campus is a safe, kind, and respectful environment that provides services and resources to thousands of Memphians experiencing homelessness. We are the starting point, providing our guests with comprehensive care and the stabilizing resources they need, including temporary shelter, assistance acquiring identification, employment opportunities, and referrals to community partners.

Guest Services
Hub Case Counselors meet with individuals experiencing homelessness to understand their specific needs and how to support them to find a place to call their own. Here are some things the Hub helps with:
Obtaining identification (birth certificate, TN state ID/driver's license)
Mail service, phone and iPad stations
Shelter & housing referrals
Health services - referrals to free healthcare, mental health, dental, and optical services; COVID testing; menstrual products
Substance abuse programs - referrals to treatment programs
Government assistance - help with applying for federal, state, local, and veteran assistance programs

Limited Funding for fifty percent of the cost of a Long-distance bus ticket (up to 100.00) for specific circumstances (no income, contact with someone in their destination city that can guarantee that they have a place to stay on arrival.)

Several partners visit the Hub on a regular basis to offer free services to you such as food stamps assistance, haircuts, legal assistance, and showers. An update schedule can be found here: https://www.hospitalityhub.org/get-help/.

Hub Hotel
The Hub Hotel is the region's first barrier-free shelter for women and their children. To request shelter, walk in at the Hub during hours of operation Monday - Friday 8:30am-3:00pm to speak with a case counselor.

Work Local
The Hub partners with the City of Memphis to clean up litter and provide temporary fair-wage work opportunities. Sign up for the week is every Monday at 6:30am at the Hub. ID and COVID vaccination card required.

YHDP/Hub Hall
YHDP supports young adults aged 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness. Each guest is assigned a dedicated Navigator who connects them with the resources needed to obtain secure and stable housing. Hub Hall is a transitional housing program under YHDP. To request help, contact one of the Navigators on the CAFTH website: https://www.cafth.org/youth-system-navigation-program/. (I recommend using the link instead of individual Navigator contacts as this has changed and will continue to change!)

Requires intake interview; call for information regarding any program

Program Fees:

No Fee. For the long-distance bus tickets, agency may pay up to 50% of cost of the ticket price for a non-refundable, one-way Greyhound bus ticket
