Description
With 41 suites available at no charge, Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge provides cancer patients with temporary housing so that they can access their life saving outpatient cancer treatments at Nashville area treatment centers. This home-away-from-home eases both the financial and emotional stress of cancer patients and their caregivers. It also offers a community kitchen, patio, exercise room, library/resource center, day rooms and laundry facilities. Also provides no charge transportation from Hope Lodge to cancer related appointments.

Eligibility
Patients staying at a Hope Lodge must be in active cancer treatment, and permanently reside more than 40 miles or one hour away from their cancer treatment center. Each patient must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Intake Procedure
All lodging requests must begin with a referral from the patient's treatment facility located near the Hope Lodge community. Potential guests should coordinate a request through their treatment facility doctor or social worker. Rooms are available on a first-referred, first-served basis.

Description
The American Cancer Societyâs Reach To Recovery connects people facing breast cancer, from diagnosis to survivorship, with trained volunteers who are breast cancer survivors. Our volunteers provide one-on-one support to help those facing breast cancer cope with diagnosis, treatment, side effects, talking with friends and family, and more. Volunteers do not provide medical advice. Those facing breast cancer join the program by creating a profile online, match with a volunteer, and connect online or phone call.
