Description:
Provides services consisting of general household chores (e.g. sweeping, mopping, dusting, making the bed, washing dishes, personal laundry, ironing, and meal preparation) and errands essential to the client's care (e.g. grocery shopping, having prescriptions filled) provided by a trained homemaker when the client and/or caretaker of the client is unable to perform such activities.

Eligibility:
Must be a resident of TN, 21 or older, and meet the financial requirements to receive Medicaid as determined by DHS; must be able to receive services in the home at a cost less than institutional care. Accepts referrals through Adult Protective Services.
