Description:
An evidence-based children's literacy summer and after school program that revitalizes economically distressed communities by providing educational opportunities, fostering positive leadership, and engaging individuals in effective social outreach, currently offered in Davidson and Rutherford Counties. The programs build the self-esteem and academic abilities of children from low-income families while teaching a lifelong love of learning. Curriculum focuses on the holistic development of each child and emphasizes relationship building in a community-oriented environment to help each young person realize their potential.

Description
Eight week summer camp program for children grades 1-6. Highlights for children (grades 1-6) include a daily reading program, nutritious meals, and enriching art and wellness activities. The youth program (grades 6-8) focuses on team-building, and leadership development, book clubs, and service projects.
