TN Urban Outdoors is a non-profit which promotes the use of Tennessee's parks and recreational spaces by the black and brown populations of the state, especially for persons of lower socio-economic backgrounds. The goal of the agency is to promote mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health and wellness through a focus on more outside activities for these target populations by working with our state and local parks and sharing the benefits of overall health of physical activities in the great outdoors. The ultimate goal is to lower health cost cares by promoting outdoor activities and exploring nature in our state for these target populations.
