NAMI Tennessee provides advocacy, education, and support for people affected by mental health conditions, serving the whole state of Tennessee. NAMI Tennessee is the state organization associated with NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

Program Fees:

Support groups and resource information is free; however, membership in NAMI entitles members to extra benefits. Memberships are $5 per year for an Open Door membership for an individual member with limited financial resources; $40 per year for a Regular membership which is an individual membership for one person; or $60 per year for a Household membership that includes all members of a household living at the same address. Joining entitles you to benefits at the local, state, and national levels.

Eligibility:

NAMI Tennessee is an organization of families, friends and individuals whose lives have been affected by mental health conditions. Together, the agency advocates for better lives for those individuals who have a mental health condition.
