Description:

The Chickasaw Council, the local council of the Boy Scouts of America in the Mid-South, headquartered in Memphis, mobilizes volunteers, neighborhoods, community leaders, and organizations to develop character, citizenship, and personal fitness in young men and women, ages five to twenty-one, through a variety of Scouting programs, including Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Exploring.Scouting emphasizes outdoor adventures, service, and practical life skills development. The council covers 17 counties, including Shelby County in Tennessee, Crittenden County in Arkansas and the northwest Mississippi counties of Bolivar, Carroll, Coahoma, DeSoto, Grenada, Humphries, LeFlore, Montgomery, Panola, Quitman, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tunica, and Washington. The Memphis headquarters has a national Scout Shop on the premises.

Office Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Scout Shop: Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri 10:00 am - 6:00 pm; Sat 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
