Description:
One of nineteen centers providing abstinence programs, gang prevention, drug prevention, Workforce Development, Career Readiness, educational reinforcement, and recreational sports activities for youth enrolled in school ages 6-18. All programs are integrated into adult-led group clubs, athletics, science labs, shops, learning centers, crafts, computer labs, playgrounds, gyms, special events, Robotics for ages 9-14 and camping for youth in the Memphis area.
Adult individual or group mentors, volunteers, and tutors are welcome. Partner agency of United Way of the Mid-South, Memphis Shelby County Schools, Memphis City council and the City of Memphis.
Hours:
School Hours: Mon - Fri 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm; Summer Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (call to confirm schedule)
Intake Process:
Parents must complete and sign membership application
Program Fees:
All memberships $10.00 during the school year; summer program fees vary
Eligibility:
Children ages 6-18 who are enrolled in school in the Greater Memphis area
