Organizations that are actively seeking individuals with the requisite skills and experience who are willing, on a voluntary basis without remuneration, to help people obtain and responsibly use credit, obtain or correct information in their credit reports, reduce their debt burden, manage their financial resources more effectively, complete their tax returns during tax season or pay their bills in an orderly way. Included are organizations with volunteer positions for individuals who can manage the financial affairs of older adults with conditions like Alzheimer's disease or individuals with disabilities who are unable to handle the responsibility themselves. Tasks include receiving and depositing benefits checks from Social Security or other federal programs, and/or writing checks and paying bills for people served by the program.
Street Outreach Volunteer Opportunities
