Description:
The Cannon County Child Advocacy Center has three programs. The child abuse program works as a multidisciplinary team to respond to child abuse and sexual abuse cases. The Drug Endangered Children Program provides in home services to help children and families cope with addiction issues. The child sexual abuse prevention training teaches adults how to protect children form child sexual abuse and what to do if child reports abuse to them.

Description
Crisis Intervention and family advocacy/counseling services are provided to assist child abuse victims and their families through the criminal investigation and connect the family to community resources.

To activate the Child Protective Investigative Team report abuse to the Department of Children's Services at 1-877-237-0004. Need a referral from DCS, law enforcement, or the DA's office to be admitted to the program.
