Description:
Haven of Hope of DeKalb County is a non-profit group of licensed, professional therapists and clinicians who offer faith-based counseling and other specialized services to adults, teens, and children from age 2, including state mandated Anger Management classes and Parenting Classes for divorcing couples with children under 18, drug and alcohol assessments and outpatient recovery services, depression, suicidal thoughts, schizophrenia, grief, trauma and behavioral issues with children.
Hours:
By Appointment only. Office Hours: Mon - Thu 8:00 am - Noon; and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm; Fri 8:00 am - Noon
Intake Process:
Call for appointment; forms available at the website should be filled out and submitted before or at the time of the first appointment
Program Fees:
Accepts TennCare (except for Alcohol and Drug Assessment, which is not covered by TennCare); most private insurance, and offers sliding scale fee based on income for persons on Medicare or those who self pay,
Anger Management Courses: $20.00/session and must complete all six classes to be certified by the state; Parenting courses for persons divorcing with children under 18: $100.00; Initial Visit: $140.00; call or see website for more details on fees.
Eligibility:
Residents of Cannon, DeKalb, Macon, and Warren Counties in need of counseling; also offers anger management or parenting courses required by the state
