Description:

Agency provides outpatient mental health care to underserved populations in Montgomery and surrounding counties. Offers outpatient psychotherapy for individuals, families and couples, children, teen and adults. Agency uses Behavioral approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT; DBT or Talk Therapy; Trauma-Focused Behavior Therapy; Brief Strategic Family Therapy or BSFT; and addresses racial and cultural components through Empowerment, Spiritual and Psychoeducation as well as Assertive Community Treatment. If needed agency offers a Dual Treatment program that pairs mentorship with psychotherapy.

Developmental Therapy, Functional Communication Training, Play Therapy, Social Skills Training, Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Behavior Modification are offered as well and best suited for pediatric clients.

Agency does not provide medication management or prescribe psychotropics. If appropriate, staff will collaborate with other providers to ensure the highest quality of care. Accepts TennCare, Medicare, private insurance and offers sliding scale fee based on income for private pay.

Eligibility:

Anyone (children must be 2 years or older) needing outpatient counseling for mental health issues in Montgomery and surrounding counties; telehealth services can be provided on request.
