Description:
Volunteer Behavioral Health provides a continuum of services including, but not limited to, outpatient counseling, evaluation services, medication management, care management, intensive outpatient programs and crisis services to treat mental illness and co-occurring disorders. The VBH Gallatin campus offers case management, medication management, Adult and Children's Outpatient Therapy, Intensive Outpatient program, Mobile Crisis, SOAR, SBBHL, Peer Support Center, Behavioral Safety Net for adults and children and Finding My Recovery Online Support Program.

Program Fees:
Sliding Scale Fee based on income (Sliding Scale fees start at $35.00/visit); Accepts TennCare, Medicare, some private insurance and self-pay, and can assist in applying for Behavioral Safety Net funding for adults and children with no insurance who qualify for the state program. Please call for more information.
Eligibility:
Any resident of Sumner, Trousdale or Wilson County with mental health and/or substance use issues; Mobile Crisis unit serves these counties in TN: Bledsoe, Bradley, Cannon, Clay, Cumberland, DeKalb, Fentress, Grundy, Hamilton, Jackson, Macon, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Overton, Putnam, Pickett, Polk, Rhea, Rutherford, Sequatchie, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, White, Williamson, and Wilson.

Description
Neighborhood-based outpatient facilities that offer individual, group, conjoint and family counseling, therapy groups, medication and other mental health services for community residents, especially those who are indigent, who have acute or chronic psychiatric disorders or who may be experiencing difficulty resolving personal or interpersonal conflicts or making personal adjustments to stressful life situations such as separation, divorce, widowhood, loss of a child, poor health, unemployment, family violence, delinquency or substance abuse.

Eligibility
Adults, ages 18 and over, will be assessed and referred by VBH specialists. Children and youth will be quickly referred to Youth Villages for services. VBH provides Mobile Crisis services for adults over 18 in the following counties in middle Tennessee, Upper Cumberland and southeast Tennessee: Bledsoe, Bradley, Cannon, Clay, Cumberland, DeKalb, Fentress, Grundy, Hamilton, Jackson, Macon, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Overton, Putnam, Pickett, Polk, Rhea, Rutherford, Sequatchie, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, White, Williamson, and Wilson.
Fees
No Fee for those without insurance; also accepts TennCare, Medicare/Medicare dual (with TennCare as secondary form of insurance) and offers a sliding scale fee based on federal poverty guidelines for persons without insurance.
