Supportive Services LLC of Weakley County; Substance Abuse Counseling

Description:

Provides substance abuse counseling for intervention and prevention from a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCADC), as well as MRT (Moral Reconation Therapy) classes recognized by Tennessee Courts as an alternative to incarceration for addiction or other behavioral issues, both in person in Weakley County and online. Agency will soon also offer court-ordered anger management and parenting classes, and has applied to open as an IOP (intensive outpatient) mental health counseling facility in the state of TN. Also offers drug testing and substance abuse assessment and counseling for adults.

Hours:

Appointment Hours vary, but can include evening or weekend appointments if preferred; classes are offered once a week & each class lasts 90 minutes. Anger Management consists of eight modules and may be completed in 9 weeks minimum; MRT class is a 12-step program that may be completed in 13 weeks minimum.

By appointment only; call for appointment or to schedule classes; requires state issued photo ID

Program Fees:

Classes: $25/class plus the cost of the accompanying book, which varies by topic from $11-27/book; Drug or Alcohol Assessment: $200; call for counseling session fees

Eligibility:

Adults with substance abuse issues and/or persons seeing court-ordered classes to fullfill their court-ordered diversion programs. Services offered in person in Weakley County and in surrounding counties with the virtual option. NOTE: CHECK WITH THE COURT OR YOUR PROBATION OFFICER TO MAKE SURE YOUR COUNTY OF RESIDENCE WILL ACCEPT ONLINE COURSES FIRST. AND TO CONFIRM IF CLASSES ARE ACCEPTED BY THE STATE.
