Description:

RiverArtsFest is the largest festival in the Mid-South. A two-day festival located in downtown Memphis, Tennessee on Riverside Drive, the festival features a juried Artists Market with more than 150 fine artists from around the country, the Tr-State area, and Memphis and Shelby County. Artists are juried for acceptance, and bring their original works for sale in painting, photography, ceramics, mixed media, glass, wearable art, jewelry and more. The festival also showcases live music, a Hands-on Art creative station for the young, Artists at Work demonstrations, an annual commemorative poster designed from original work by a local artist, plus food and beverage vendors.

Proceeds from the festival, along with grants provided by Humanities Tennessee, the National Endowment for the Humanities, ArtsMemphis and the National Endowment for the Arts, support RiverArtsFest's Community and Arts Education Initiative, bringing free programming for students of all ages and abilities, art educators, and the public together while providing paid opportunities for local artists.

Admission: $10.00 for ages 13 and up; $5.00 for children ages 6-12; free for ages 5 and under
