Description:
The Cordova Museum is located inside the Cordova Community Center on Sanga Road, previously the old Cordova School building, erected in 1913 by the prestigious firm Jones and Furbringer. In 1995 the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Admission to the museum is free. The museum's collection includes a wide range of school and town memorabilia, including over 1600 historic photographs. NOTE: THE MUSEUM IS OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AS IT IS USUALLY MANAGED BY SENIOR VOLUNTEERS. Please email (cordovatreasurer@gmail.com) to arrange a visit.
