Description:
A service department providing construction inspections by certified building inspectors to protect the public's life, health and welfare in the built environment in Rutherford County. The department is responsible for the issuance of all residential and commercial building permits. The department is also responsible for the preparation and processing of complaints, inspections and other legal notification for violations of the Rutherford County Zoning Resolution and Building Codes.
