Description:

Enforces Memphis/Shelby County building and safety code regulations (excluding Bartlett and Collierville). The department reviews plans, issues permits and conducts inspection of new building components, as well as inspecting plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems. Issues building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, boiler, and elevator permits.

Hours:

Mullins Station Office: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Cashiers' Window closed at 4:00 pm)

Intake Process:

Call or visit website for information. Some i Inspections can be requested online, and some forms are also available on the website; to apply for zoning verification, person can apply via mail or via the Develop 901 Citizen Portal, accessible from website; email develop901@memphistn.gov for zoning letter information; see website for more details
