Description:
The Public Works Convenience Centers provide a convenient way for Davidson County residents to dispose of excess residential trash, recyclables, and other waste items that are not accepted in the curbside trash and recycling program. Residents are limited to 2 visits per day. Vehicles with commercial tags will not be allowed to enter. Commercial waste materials will not be accepted.

Intake Process:
All loose residential trash must be bagged. Residents are allowed three bags per visit at no charge.
Convenience Centers accept all curbside recycling materials and glass as well as excess residential trash and other waste items not accepted in curbside trash or recycling carts.
Program Fees:
Cash and checks accepted. Tires with rims $4.00/each; tires without rims: no charge (limit of 4 tires/month); mattresses and box springs: $5.00 each (up to 4 total/month); small trailers (less than 4'x6'x1'): $6.00; standard pickups (level loads to top of truck rails): $6.00; stacked pickup loads (from top of truck rails to top of cab): $12.00; all other loads/trailers: $12.00 per cubic yard (all trailers will be measured at centers). Fees are subject to change.
