SAMHSA also offers a free Disaster Distress Helpline which offers crisis counseling for persons in emotional distress due to any natural or human-caused disaster. SAMHSA provides free and confidential referrals and information about treatment for mental and/or substance abuse disorders, prevention and recovery through the website and helpline. Also offers an online treatment locator with detailed information about available treatment programs, including a specialized opioid treatment program directory at dpt2.samhsa.gov/treatment/.
