Description:
Adventure Science Center is an interactive hands-on science experience for children and adults. Offers various week-long summer and school break day camps for children ranging from rising K-6th grade. Fees range depending on the camp chosen. Discounts are available for members. Each day includes hands-on science activities, interpersonal engagement, a break for lunch, and an exploration of the science center. Depending on the session, campers may also have the opportunity to hear from and talk with guest speakers, see planetarium shows and educational films, and take part in camp-wide projects.

Tennessee residents who participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, WIC) or Families First/Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) are eligible for the Curiosity level membership for $45/year. Subsidized membership may only be applied in person. Must provide proof of public assistance and photo ID.
Under the Museums for All program, families who participate in SNAP, WIC, or TANF may receive $3 discount on admission per person (for up to four people). Discounts may only be applied in person. Must provide proof of public assistance and photo ID.

Museum is open Mon, Thu, Fri 9:00 am - 3:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. Some volunteer activities, such as special events, may be outside normal operating hours.

14 years and up with clean background check; not able to provide court-ordered community service opportunities

Must commit to volunteering for 6 months; must complete a minimum of 25 hours of service during 6-month participation; complete a Background Check (18+); minimum 14 years of age; attend a Volunteer Orientation and additional training courses for your position, as needed; submit a Volunteer Application
