Alcoholics Anonymous is a voluntary worldwide fellowship of men and women from all walks of life who meet together to attain and maintain sobriety through a 12-step program. Open meetings may be attended by anyone in the community (including those with a drug problem); however, closed meetings may be attended only by those who are trying to stop drinking alcohol. The First United Methodist Church in Henderson is one of the Chester County meeting sites.
