Description:

Provides comprehensive victim support program of education, community outreach, safety, and crisis intervention. Addresses related health issues for women and children affected by domestic violence. This program is the only court advocacy non-shelter program which has advocates in both criminal and civil courts in Knoxville. The YWCA is a partner in the innovative Family Justice Center collaboration in Knoxville. Culturally specific advocacy is available for immigrant, refugee, Latinx and Afro-American population. Advocates who speak English, French, Arabic and Spanish are available for women who have experienced domestic violence and for female family members.

Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm: admin staff hours
