Description:

YWCA provides crisis emergency shelter for single women and women with children, male victims and LGBTQ and immigrant women victims. Services include: legal referrals and advocacy, information and referral, telephone crisis intervention, victim compensation assistance, women's advocacy at the local/state/national levels, speakers bureau and public forums, local transportation, case management, domestic violence counseling, court advocacy and support groups. Bilingual services and advocacy will be available for female immigrants who are domestic violence clients; Spanish speaking staff will be available soon.

Hours:

24/7 shelter; Administrative Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Eligibility:

Victims of abuse, including single women and women with children of any age, male victims, LGBTQ victims; also assists immigrant women in DV or other abuse situations.
