Description:

Provides hands-on vocational training for adults in specific technical occupations and skilled and semiskilled trades for individuals who have graduated from high school or the equivalent. Included are programs that prepare people for careers in areas as diverse as business, computer training, allied health occupations, building trades and manufacturing. Contact individual centers for available programs. Also offers Dual Enrollment Grant for high school juniors and seniors.

Mon - Fri 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Intake Process:

Call for more information. An application for admission must be completed and submitted with a high school/college transcript or copy of GED or HiSET scores.

Program Fees:

Call for information. Fees are subject to change without notice. Costs vary for textbooks, supplies, uniforms, and tools needed for training depending on program. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Eligibility:

Must be TN resident ages 18 or older; accepts 17-year-olds with HS diploma or HiSet (High School Equivalency Test); High School Juniors and Seniors can apply for special Dual Enrollment Grant for training while still completing high school. May apply for enrollment at the school anytime and will be placed on a waiting list according to the date of their completed application and enrolled as vacancies occur.
