Description:
The District Attorney General serves the people of Sumner County by prosecuting all state criminal offenses in the Criminal and General Sessions Courts, drafting and preparing indictments to the Grand Jury, prosecuting all criminal indictments returned by the Grand Jury, and working closely with local, State, and other law enforcement agencies prosecuting criminal violations. Advises and assists victims of crime and supports activities and programs that promote the best and safest communities possible for the citizens of Sumner County.
