Description:

Provides hands-on vocational training for adults in specific technical occupations and skilled and semiskilled trades for individuals who have graduated from high school or the equivalent. Included are programs that prepare people for careers in areas as diverse as computer training, allied health occupations, building trades, barbering, digital agronomy, industrial maintenance, cosmetology, medical billing and coding (HIMT or Health Information Management Technician) and manufacturing. Contact individual centers for available programs. HiSet (High School Equivalency) instruction and testing is offered at this center through TCAT Ripley.

Call for information. Fees are subject to change without notice. Costs vary for textbooks, supplies, uniforms, and tools needed for training depending on program. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Eligibility:

Must be age 18 or older; accepts 17-year-olds with HS diploma, HiSet (High School Equivalency Test) or GED; May apply for enrollment at the school anytime and will be placed on a waiting list according to the date of their completed application and enrolled as vacancies occur.
