Description:

Provides nationwide cancer patient matching program for recently diagnosed adult cancer patients. Trained volunteers are matched with new patients who have the same type of cancer, if possible. Patients call CHN toll free and the volunteers will call them back, at no expense to the patient. One-on-one emotional support and encouragement is provided by telephone by 450+ survivors representing over 50 types of cancer. Also provides a clinical trial matching program (TACT - Talking About Clinical Trials) for cancer patients considering participation in a clinical trial. Cancer patients are matched with a cancer survivor who has been in a clinical trial and can provide information about their experiences.

Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Eastern Time

Intake Process:

Call, join the online chat feature or fill out online application form to be matched with a trained volunteer cancer survivor. Volunteers will call new patients back at no expense to the patient.

Any adult diagnosed with cancer or their loved ones seeking information and support or information about participating in cancer drug clinical trials in the US, Canada or Puerto Rico
