Description:
Alliance offers multi-disciplinary community-based arts programs that celebrate African-American art, literature and culture included in 4 programs: ArtsReach ASAP, an afterschool program designed to take artistic experience directly to where under-served children live and play; Jazz-A-F!RE, a monthly jazz concert, featuring a celebration of legendary featured jazz artists; Souls-A-F!RE, a showcase of talented youth ages 7-24 to various venues throughout the tri-county area; and finally MemBAN, a network of African American artists, arts organizations and arts lovers that support each other through artistic and professional development, database sharing, marketing/advertising, and promotions.
