Description:
Provides skills training for job readiness, interest assessment, resume advice, support services referrals, free job training, job transition counseling, and job placement. TABE (Tests of Adult Basic Education) testing available at most centers. Persons may use computers at the center to apply online for unemployment benefits and staff can assist with this application if needed. (Somerville Affiliate center closed and this Oakland site replaced that office.)

HOURS: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Intake Process:
Call for information or appointment; or see website for appointment; to apply for unemployment benefits, go online or go to local unemployment offices to use their computers to apply online or call toll free for information (877) 813-0950. Once enrolled to receive unemployment, claimants are responsible for filing weekly certification of benefits online as long as they are unemployed.
