Description:

Provides a variety of services for adults and youth who are visually impaired, including adaptive software for computers, keyboarding, clerical skills; vocational assessment for visually impaired, blind and other persons with disabilities; Braille instruction; iPhone, iPad and Apple Products training; orientation and mobility training with canes to include safe travel skills; and CATS (Clovernook Assistive Technology Store) with items to help those with visual impairments; job readiness and job placement along with follow-up. Also offers support groups on Thursday 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.

Mon - Thu 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Fri 8:00 am - Noon

Eligibility:

Those with impaired vision who are at least 16 and GED-eligible or high school seniors. Requires referral by TN Department of Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired or Department of Rehab Services
