Description:
Provides a special space exclusively for teen ages 13-18; includes video and audio production labs, editing and mixing stations, formal and informal learning areas, digital and analog displays, a performance area, a Maker Space, and spaces for brainstorming, homework, and collaboration zones. Teens can make and edit video and audio, use hi-tech equipment such as 3D printers, learn coding for computer software or create items with low-tech wood-working tools, perform and create art, practice entrepreneurial skills, brainstorm and collaborate on ideas, and much more. Teens will enjoy expert-led workshops and self-guided learning with other teens, mentors, and volunteers.
Hours:
SUMMER HOURS (June 1, 2023): Mon - Thu 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm (Closed Fridays for summer camp pre-registered participants); Sat 10:00 am - 6:00 pm; Sun 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
REGULAR HOURS: Mon - Thu 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm; CLOSED FRIDAY; Sat 10:00 am - 6:00 pm; Sun 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Intake Process:
Youth ages 13-18 can enter the space; they must sign in and agree to rules of the space; specialized equipment may require a reservation to use; check website for details and calendar of upcoming events and workshops
