Description:

Provides Landmark and Historic Tree Registry, arboretum certification program, urban and community forestry awards, promotion and support for community forest grants, speakers, advocacy for tree protection, educational outreach at community events with information on tree selection, tree care, tree health and tree benefits and partners with communities and other nonprofits on tree related projects. Offers urban forestry classes to the public.

Hours:

Program Fees:

No Fee for information; workshop and certification fees vary; $95.00 for 5 sessions of the Urban Forestry Advisor's Classes which meet in the fall; Chapter dues are $10.00 per year.

Citizens and professionals who want to learn more about tree health and how trees underpin a sustainable environment.
