Promotes horse industry and preserves riding land in the Mid-South. Raises funds for equestrian facilities at Shelby Farms, Shelby Forest and other areas in the region. Offers educational classes for riders, and an annual class for first responders in disasters for animals in emergences and other equestrian events; member of worldwide organization that does this called TLAER (Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue).
