Clearinghouse for citizens wanting financial information and education and who seek complaint assistance as it relates to institutions chartered and licensed in TN. This state agency licenses/oversees financial institutions such as state-chartered banks, credit unions, mortgage, payday loans, Flexible Credit Loans, also known as "Flex-Loans" and title loan companies that operate in TN.

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Intake Process:
Call for forms or assistance, download complaint forms at website or email to request form (tdfi.consumerresources@tn.gov); may fax completed form to 615-253-7794, but filing online is the most efficient method to file a complaint

Any TN resident wanting information or wishing to make a complaint against a TN financial institution, or agencies wishing to become licensed in the state
