Description:
Provides one of the oldest neighborhood associations in Memphis, founded in 1967. The Central Gardens Association works to sustain and enhance the quality of the historic neighborhood by preserving its environmental and architectural character and to encourage a sense of community among its residents. Publishes month e-newsletter, distributes newcomer packets and holds events such as Fourth of July Parade and an annual Home and Garden Tour.
