Description
Home delivered meals are provided to people who are 60 years of age or older and who have limited ability to shop and cook for themselves. Kitchen used to prepare meals is located at the Franklin County Senior Center, but the program is through Meals on Wheels.

Description
The Transportation program is locally operated under the authority of the South Central Tennessee Development District. Transportation is provided to the public and is the County's only public transportation system, available to anyone who needs a ride. Regular scheduled routes are scheduled within the County area and outside destinations; 12 Vans available; 9 wheel chair equipped; clients must call 24-48 hours in advance to receive transportation and schedule pick-up; will take clients from home to senior center.

Well-stocked entirely by donated items which include clothing, shoes, glassware, books, puzzles, stuffed toys, floral arrangements, TV's, radios, lamps, jewelry, pictures, dishes, and novelty items. All are sold at reasonable prices.
