Delivers rescue services to Cannon County residents; provides disaster relief and support operations of mutual partners in emergency services in Cannon County, surrounding counties, and throughout Tennessee

Services to the community include:
- Vehicle Rescue (extrication) using the Jaws-of-Life
- Water Rescue
- Land Search and Rescue
- Animal Rescue
- Vertical Rescue
- Cave/Confined Space Rescue
- Farm Rescue
- Disaster Response
- Adverse Weather Response
- Community Awareness Projects

Eligibility:

Serves Cannon, Coffee, Dekalb, Rutherford, Warren, and Wilson County, with priority given to Cannon County residents

Volunteer Opportunities:

- Resident of Cannon County or live within a reasonable drive time to the Rescue Squad headquarters.
- Must have valid Tennessee Driver's License
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to perform or assist in required duties of emergency rescue response.
- Must become familiar with the use of all rescue equipment.
- Must attend meets, drills, and all functions of the Squad.
- Must become Vehicle Extrication Certificated within 12 months of becoming a responder.
- Must be a legal citizen of the United States, nationalized citizen of the United States, or must posses a legal permit to live and work in the United States.
- Must not have felony convictions against their record. Applicants with previous felony convictions will be allowed to apply for membership if and when the felony conviction is expunged from their record.
