Description:

Provides educational and support services to women: Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), typing, and Internet; GED preparation; citizenship test preparation; business skills and job readiness; and sewing classes. Limited babysitting available while mothers attend class. Also provides ESL classes for women 18 and over and GED classes in Spanish. Provides both day and evening classes for the GED and ESL instruction.

Hours:

OFFICE HOURS: Mon - Thu 9:00 am - Noon and Mon - Wed 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm; GED and ESL CLASS SCHEDULES: Day classes are held Mon, Tue, Wed and Thu 9:00 am - Noon and evening classes are Mon, Tue and Wed from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm; Spanish GED classes are held Mon and Wed (call for details on times and eligibility) Citizenship test prep classes are held Wed mornings 9:00 am - Noon. Computer skills classes are held Thu mornings 9:00 am - Noon and Tue nights from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
