Ironworkers Local 167 Apprenticeship Training

Description:

Provides a training program for individuals looking to learn a professional skill as an ironworker. Registered training program with the US Department of Labor since 1968.

Hours:

Office Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm; must call for appointment

Intake Process:

Call for information; accepts applicants from a 200 mile radius around Memphis, including areas of Arkansas, Mississippi and Missouri

Program Fees:

No fee

Eligibility:

Must have: valid driver's license, birth certificate (must be 18), high school diploma or GED, social security card, veterans may supply copy of DD214. Must be physically able to perform work, including ability to climb and work at great heights. Must provide own transportation and able to work in outdoor conditions and work anywhere within Local 167's jurisdiction (info on website). Must be DRUG FREE (drug test given prior to acceptance).
