Description:
Organization that offers a variety of programs, including but not limited to, fitness and wellness, sports and recreation, arts and enrichment, swimming lessons, lifeguard training, after school care and camps, and more, including the Go Pink program for survivors by survivors that provides education and healing for body, mind and spirit after a breast cancer diagnosis. Participants learn about healthy eating, resume or begin a regular exercise program that is right for them and form a healing community in small group discussions led by a trained facilitator. Programs are frequently added and can vary by season. Call or check website to confirm programs of interest.

Description
More than just child supervision while you work out, the Y-Play service offers children the chance to get the most out of their own visit to the Y through playing, learning and staying physically active. At Y-Play, children ages six weeks to twelve years participate in arts and crafts, reading, outside play time and music activities appropriate for their age groups.
Hours
Children may stay at Y-Play for up to two hours per day and a maximum of nine hours per week. Mon - Thu: 8:00 am - noon and 3:30 pm -7:00 pm Fri: 8:00 am - noon Sat: 8:00 am - noon Sun: 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Eligibility
Children ages 6 weeks to 12 years whose parents or guardians are YMCA members

Description
Go Pink is a program for breast cancer survivors. Participants receive a 6-month YMCA membership, a custom wellness plan designed by a Pink Ribbon TM Certified Trainer, nutrition counseling from a registered dietitian, assessment and education from a Lymphedema Specialist, and encouragement and support from staff members and fellow breast cancer survivors.
