Description:

Provides a non-profit that offers comprehensive enrollment and advocacy services to eligible Mississippi residents trying to enroll or re-apply for state health insurance benefits in Medicaid/CHIP and provides help and information for MS residents enrolling for new benefits under the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) such as private insurance assistance (ie., denied claims, coverage for children up to age 26) and offers education on how to navigate the Health Insurance marketplace. Also provides help in filing Medicaid appeals as well as private insurance appeals and grievances and helps determine Medicaid/CHIP eligibility. (Greenville office closed in 2019).

Mississippians in need of affordable health insurance; this office covers 31 northern MS counties: Alcorn, Benton, Bolivar, Carroll, DeSoto, Grenada, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee, Leflore, Marshall, Montgomery, Panola, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Quitman, Sharkey, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tippah, Tishomingo, Tunica, Union, Washington, Yalobusha and Yazoo
