Description:

Provides hands-on vocational training for adults in specific technical occupations and skilled and semi-skilled trades for individuals who have graduated from high school or the equivalent. Included are programs that prepare people for careers in areas as diverse as computer training, nursing, automotive repair and technology, welding, HVAC and manufacturing. Contact individual centers for available programs. This Whiteville Extension Campus is a satellite site for TCAT Jackson.

Call for more information. An application for admission must be completed and submitted with a high school/college transcript or copy of GED or HiSET scores.

Program Fees:

Must complete application online. Call for information. Fees are subject to change without notice. Costs vary for textbooks, supplies, uniforms, and tools needed for training depending on program. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Eligibility:

Must be TN resident ages 18 or older; accepts 17-year-olds with HS diploma, HiSet (High School Equivalency Test) or GED; May apply for enrollment at the school anytime and will be placed on a waiting list according to the date of their completed application and enrolled as vacancies occur.
