Description:
Thistle and Bee exists to help women who have survived trafficking, prostitution and substance addiction thrive. Thistle and Bee is a transitional living home designed to assist women gain healing and self-sufficiency over the two-year program. Applicants must have a history of survival sex (prostitution, stripping) and/or sex-trafficking AND a history of addiction. There are two components of the program.
Component 1: Two years of free housing in a community setting, including comprehensive, trauma-informed support services (intensive outpatient treatment, individual and group therapy, 12-step recovery), and wrap-around-care (medical, vision, dental). Component 2: Work-force preparedness and financial literacy are offered as women become eligible for employment in Thistle and Bee's social justice enterprise. Thistle and Bee offers a matched-savings program for qualified residents.

Office Hours: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Intake Process:
Contact Clinical Program Director at 901-338-8299 or bhanczor@thistleandbee.org or an application. A virtual interview will be scheduled. If the residence is full, applicants are placed on a waiting list and/or referred to other agencies.

Eligibility:
Women survivors wishing to leave a life of prostitution, trafficking and active addiction. Must have a minimum of 30 days sobriety, no active warrants, not registered as a sex offender, and not on MAT treatment to be eligible to participate in the program.
