Provides funding for the burial of deceased persons who did not leave sufficient resources to cover the cost of burial expenses.

The deceased must meet the following eligibility criteria: *Was a resident of Davidson County or died in Davidson County without means to provide for burial *Does not exceed the monthly allowable income as stated in the Health Services most current Poverty Income Guidelines - 100% Poverty Level *Did not leave sufficient assets or life insurance policy to cover cost of burial expenses *Did not die in a state or federal institution or in state or federal custody

Description
Provides a noon meal Monday through Friday in a group setting at 13 locations throughout the county. In addition to a nutritious meal, this program provides participants the opportunity to enjoy fun and fellowship with other seniors. Activities include crafts, field trips, exercise programs and nutrition education. Must be 60 years or older.

Provides nutritional supplement to individuals under a physician's care. Supplements are sold by the case at a reduced cost.
