Floor Covering Industry Foundation - Financial Assistance Grants

Description:

The Floor Covering Industry Foundation is dedicated to financially assisting families who have worked in the floor covering industry or are retired from the flooring industry who are experiencing catastrophic illnesses, severe disabilities, or other life-altering hardships. One of the members in the home must have a severe disability, illness, or injury, but it does not have to be the same family member who worked in the flooring industry. Applicants could be the spouse, parent, or child of the flooring worker, given they live in the same household and that a family member of the household has had 5+ years of service in the floor covering industry. Funds are provided for help with expenses such as medical care, medications, medical supplies, and other necessities such as food, shelter, and utilities.

Program Fees:

No fee.

Eligibility:

Criterial for assistance: financial need, severity of medical condition, and 5+ years of service to the floor covering industry by a household family member.
