Marks where underground cables are located on properties where homeowners, contractors, utility companies intend to dig in the state of Mississippi. Call 8-1-1 or 1-800-227-6477 or request information online from the website. To request a utility location, caller must provide name of nearest road, closest intersection, including driving instructions from the nearest intersection with specific directions (N, S, E or W) as well as distance in feet, yard or miles. Instructions should be within two miles from last landmark to the location of the utility lookup.
