Description:
Provides coalition of both agencies and individuals which promotes equal participation of individuals with disabilities by providing information, training and technical assistance in complying with Americans with Disabilities Act regulations. Promotes employment opportunities for those with disabilities and provides advocacy and information about available resources, including details about the Benefits to Work program. Increases awareness of the needs of brain-injured youth attending public schools. Provides free trainings (Brain Links) to schools, families, and health care providers on how to support students with traumatic brain injury. As of 3/1/2022, staff are still working remotely, but available by phone or through the website.
