Description
Programs that operate a telephone response service staffed by trained personnel who assess requests for emergency assistance and dispatch the appropriate emergency response agency (law enforcement, fire, paramedics/EMTs or ambulance services, the latter per a contract with the municipality).

Description
The South Police Precinct can handle motor vehicle registration and renewals.

Mon - Fri 9 am - 5:00 pm
Required Documents
Please take the passed emissions test slip, and either the renewal notice or a copy of your current registration to one of our locations. If you have misplaced your renewal notice or your emissions testing slip you may still renew in person. You do not need your renewal notice or testing slip to renew.

People who wish to register a vehicle or renew a vehicle's registration.

Fees vary depending upon services provided.
Intake Procedure
Take your vehicle along with the renewal notice you may have received in the mail from the Tennessee Department of Revenue, to one of the vehicle emissions testing stations. If you did not receive a renewal notice in the mail, you may still continue on to the Emissions testing center. You do not need a renewal slip to have your vehicle tested. Once your vehicle has passed emissions, bring the test slip and the renewal notice or current registration to the police precinct.
