Description:
Provides a tollfree call center available throughout the US and its territories that answers health and safety questions about pesticides. NPIC offers objective, science-based information about a wide variety of pesticide-related topics, including pesticide product information, pesticide poisonings, toxicology and environmental chemistry. Specialists provide referrals for investigation of pesticide incidents, emergency treatment information, safety information, health and environmental effects and cleanup and disposal procedures. Program is a cooperative effort between Oregon State University and the Environmental Protection Agency.
